Shoals Environmental Alliance, instead of meeting Tuesday, April 29, will join Shoals Audubon Society for a joint meeting this Thursday, May 1, 6:00pm in the Parish Hall at Trinity Episcopal Church, 410 N. Pine St., Florence.
Bring a dish for the potluck dinner, to be followed by a members' slide show.
For the slide show, everyone is encouraged to bring photos (on slides, CD or laptop) of anything you think might be of interest (birds, flowers, field trips, hikes, etc.)
As a special treat, Shoals Audubon's Ed Yielding will give a short presentation on his record setting coast to coast flight flying the SR-71 Blackbird to Washington D.C., to be placed in the Smithsonian.
Shoals Environmental Alliance will also meet in May on our regular date, Tuesday, May 27.
